“Ok, I should start by letting you know I'm 100% biased. James Harris has been cutting, coloring, curling, chopping, shaving, tweaking & generally experimenting with my hair since the 80's. I've had other sylists here and there over the years, but I always come back to James. He's a great stylist, artist and a very good friend. He takes my emotional attachment to my hair/style deeply to heart and cuts with my personality & place in life in mind. (in other words, I'm a pain in *ss & he handles it brilliantly.) If you're dead serious about looking the way you want to feel - He's your man. Sugardaddys, as a salon, is fantastic. I recently came back to town and had never been there or met any of the staff. When I called to make an appointment, the receptionist was great. When I showed up for my appointment I passed 2 clients leaving - both were smiling & friendly (good sign!). The lobby area is a bit tight, but it's only because the place is cram packed with so much talent. Everyone was smiling, and we were greeted by almost every staff member we saw. Surprisingly, for such a full & busy salon the noise level was completely comfortable. The decor is luscious, and location is very easily accessible. I brought my 8 year old daughter with me, and she had unexpectedly decided she wanted to cut her hair, also. They were great about the request & within moments this amazing, tall, willowy angel appeared from a back room. She instantly had my shy kiddo completely in the palm of her hand. While James cut 5 years of dead weight off my head, my daughter was treated like a total princess by Fiona and LOVES her haircut. As do i. When we left I was given a lovely gift bag for my defunct ponytail (all 21" of it !!!) and we two girls left smiling just as big as the 2 women we passed on our way in.”
